Description:
Within the realm of education, a great deal of controversy has been raised surrounding the inequity which can be found in schools. As this inequity can manifest itself through almost any medium, school lunches are one such facet in educational facilities which are no exception. In regards to the food’s quality, quantity, and variety, a great discrepancy can be seen from contemptible provisions given to the students in the Rochester City School District (RCSD) to those of neighboring districts. With the food in schools running parallel to the state of the school itself, one can say that students who are confronted with such poor level of food are also met with a similar level of accessibility to find ways to combat such treatment. With this in mind, a great deal of work can be presented indicating the problem, and how a potential remedy can be found.
